Riverside Theater is a concert hall located in the city of Milwaukee, the state of Wisconsin. The hall’s capacity is of 2,460 seats, and it hosts several artists’ musical shows. The hall that was opened in 1928 and designed by architects Thomas Rose and Charles Kirchoff is leased by the Pabst Theater Foundation.

In 1984, Riverside Theater was renovated. The hall is considered the most affluent theater in the city of Milwaukee. The theater is part of a 12 stories building that includes Empire office space. The local architects that designed the venue, and they are the designers of Palace Theatre in New York City as well, has been picked to give some glamour to the theatre.

In 1982, the lease contract of United Artist expired and they decided not to renew it. So, a campaign was launched as there were plans to build a shopping mini-mall by local real estate developers. And the support grew, for instance the philanthropist Joseph Zilber made a fund of –1/2 million for the building’s revitalization and repair. So in 1984, the theater was reopened again with its new lighted, gilded, and re-draped auditorium.

An artistic renovation has been done to the theatre in 2005. And after the Riverside Theater Foundation made a lease contract, it started make promotion of performances there. And since then, the theatre has come to life again, and the number of artists and shows that are hosted there have exceeded anytime in the building’s history. The theatre stage has hosted shows of artists like Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and a lot more.
